Experience the future of cinematic storytelling at CLOWD: The AI Film Festival, a two-day celebration of storytelling created at the intersection of human imagination and artificial intelligence.

CLOWD was created to celebrate and evangelize the integration of AI in filmmaking by showcasing groundbreaking AI-driven narratives, nurturing a global community of filmmakers, and establishing AI filmmaking as an exciting new category in the creative arts.

This inaugural festival features finalists selected from a global competition with 22 finalists from more than 11 countries, highlighting the boldest new voices redefining what's possible in cinema.

Join us October 7–8, 2026, at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale, California, and witness the stories shaping the future of film.

The new cinema has no borders.

CLOWD looks beyond the prompt. Our panels explore the entire lifecycle of AI filmmaking—from higher education and emerging production models to hybrid workflows, financing, distribution and finding an audience.

BE PART OF THE INDIE AI FILM REVOLUTION

Hollywood doesn’t own the future.

While the studios figure out their AI strategies, independent storytellers are already making films. They’re emerging from every corner of the world—with Hollywood, without Hollywood and sometimes in spite of Hollywood. Come see what happens when the tools get into everyone’s hands.

PREMIERE SCREENINGS IN A MOVIE PALACE

AI meets the ultimate algorithm: an audience.

Forget the laptop. These films are going on the big screen at the 100-year-old Alex Theatre in Glendale. It’s a fitting collision of cinema’s past and future—and perhaps the most important test of AI filmmaking yet: Will an audience care about the story?

JOIN A POWERFUL, BURGEONING COMMUNITY

Come for the films. Find your people.

Something unusual is happening inside the global AI filmmaking community: genuine kinship. Filmmakers are sharing techniques, tools, discoveries and opportunities in ways rarely seen in entertainment. CLOWD brings that community into the same room. Meet the filmmakers, creative technologists and leaders building what comes next.
